There are many ways that you can make money blogging. Each depends on what type of blogger you see yourself as, and what traffic you chase.

Who can Blog?

Blogging provides the online world with information, opinions and views. Many successful bloggers are keen internet marketers. You can however blog for many reasons, each reason will generate a different level of success but either way you can still find a way of making money from blogging.

How to make money from your blog

Pay per click (ppc) is the most popular way to monetize your blog. The programs you would of heard of are Google Adsense or Bidvertiser. Basically you put ppc ads on your blog and you get paid when someone clicks on the ads.

Advertising affiliate products can earn you money. You get paid commission on sales. You can earn commission by using your blog as a sales pitch, recommend the affiliate products to your readers.

We discussed selling ad space in the previous post so I wont go into this one too much. All I will say is that you need to make sure your visitor stats are good before this one will work.

How much can you earn from your blog?

This all depends on you and your blog. One thing you need to do for sure is write a good blog that your readers will enjoy. Don't write about something you don't enjoy yourself, your readers will see through it.

Secondly you need to make sure your traffic is targeted. It is not about quantity, but rather it is about quality. If someone for example is a golfer and stumbles on your cooking blog. Will they stay and read your posts? Highly unlikely. This is where Internet Marketing comes in. Successful bloggers are also internet marketers.
